State troopers on Monday were forced to intentionally flatten the tires of an out of control car on I-95.
The Drivers car was out of control and he couldn't slow it down. Troopers had to get creative and throw down spikes while the guy was on the phone!
"“I’m doing like 95, about 100,” he told the operator.
The operator tried to come up with ways to get the car to stop.
She suggested he try to force the car into neutral.
Cooper did not like that idea.
“Ma’am, I’m in a BMW and if I slam that over, it’s going to drop down a gear and I really don’t want that to happen,” he told her. “It could spin me out.”
The operator then asked if he had an emergency brake in the car.
“Yeah, but I’m not pulling that at no 100 miles an hour, ma’am,” he said. “I’m sorry.”
Cooper kept going through Martin County and into St. Lucie County."
