Why they were nominated:
Westmere FD is about community and serving proudly. Last week we responded to the Meadow Brook fire ( on the news), we also had 5 signal 30's (fires) in a week span by we also find time to open our doors to the community for Open Houses,Fundraisers and stopping at local schools for Fire Prevention. Our Station is always open for a tour and to the public to stop in. We are all about serving our community and giving back to the community.
PYX 106’s Quinn & Cantara will be at Westmere Fire Department July 23rdfrom 11a-1p with FREE food from Wagon Train BBQ for the Department and any Capitaland First Responders who want to stop by (while supplies last).
