If you drive by the Albany Airport this week check out one of the most iconic airplanes from WWII, B17 Bomber “Sentimental Journey”. Known as the Flying Fortress prior to the attack on Pearl Harbor fewer than 200 B17’s were in service.
Over 12,000 were built by the time production ended in 1945…there are only a few left. It’s a unique experience to have one here through Sunday afternoon.
