If you are a huge Bruce Springsteen fan you may want to plan a trip to Monmouth University in West Long Branch, near the singer's hometown of Freehold, New Jersey.
Earlier this week, Bruce sat down for a special talk at the school, where it was announced that his archives will now be housed at the university. The new Bruce Springsteen Archives and Center for American Music will feature artifacts from throughout The Boss’ career, including written works, photographs, magazines and more. It is also expected to help promote the legacy of other American musicians like Woody Guthrie, Robert Johnson, Hank Williams and Frank Sinatra.
Monmouth already had a pretty big connection to Bruce before the announcement. In 2011, they created the Bruce Springsteen Special Collection, which now features close to 35,000 items donated by fans.
