The iconic Oscar Mayer Wienermobile is rolling through the Capital Region, delighting fans with its unique hot-dog shape. Today (May 16), the Wienermobile will be at Price Chopper/Market 32 locations in East Greenbush from 1 p.m. to 3 p.m. and in North Greenbush from 4 p.m. to 6 p.m. Tomorrow (May 17), it will make an appearance at the Niskayuna Day Parade in the morning and at the East Niskayuna Price Chopper in the afternoon.
The Wienermobile, a 27-foot-long vehicle, has been a beloved symbol of Americana since 1936. During its visit, attendees can meet the Hotdoggers, take photos, and enjoy samples while supplies last. AdvantEdge cardholders can also take advantage of a buy-one-get-one-free deal on select Oscar Mayer products, including Classic Wieners and Beef Franks, at all Price Chopper and Market 32 stores.
The Wienermobile's tour began on Thursday (May 15), with stops in Slingerlands and Glenmont. The visit offers a unique opportunity for fans to snap a selfie, snag a Wiener Whistle, and enjoy a piece of American nostalgia. The tour continues through Saturday (May 17), promising smiles and souvenirs for all who attend.
