In Albany, the Capital District Transportation Authority (CDTA) and Harding Mazzotti LLP are working to ensure safe travels for New Year's Eve revelers. CDTA is offering free rides from 8 p.m. tonight through 2 a.m. on New Year's Day. However, on New Year's Day, CDTA will operate on a holiday schedule, with no Northway or Thruway express services available.

Harding Mazzotti LLP is providing $20 Uber vouchers to encourage safe celebrations and deter impaired driving. The vouchers are available in Albany, Binghamton, Plattsburgh, Syracuse, and Utica. They can be claimed online from 10 p.m. on December 31 until 2 a.m. on January 1, on a first-come, first-served basis. The firm is offering up to $100,000 in vouchers, marking the 20th year of their Safe Ride Home program.

In addition to the vouchers, Harding Mazzotti has partnered with KEY Sparkling Water to offer a 50% discount on non-alcoholic beverages through January 5. The discount code is available on the firm's website and the Uber voucher link.

Paul Harding, managing partner at Harding Mazzotti, emphasized the importance of safety to News 10, saying, "If you choose to drink, we encourage you to take advantage of our rideshare voucher program to ensure you get home safely to your loved ones while also protecting your neighbors by not getting behind the wheel."
