Nasty Winter Weather Set To Hit The Capital Region

Get ready for another dose of winter. We haven't seen much of it so far in 2020, but that's about the change. While we've been enjoying some warmer temperatures it's not going to last. A Winter Weather Advisory in in place form much of the Capital Region until 11pm Thursday night.

What can we expect Wednesday night into Thursday? From AccuWeather:

Mixed precipitation expected, including snow, sleet and freezing rain. Total snow accumulations of up to two inches and ice accumulations of up to two tenths of an inch.

This is going to lead to some very slippery roads so be careful heading out on Thursday morning.
