Ric Ocasek, Lead Singer of the Cars, Dead at at 75

Sad news to report this Sunday night. Ric Ocasek, the lead singer of The Cars has died at the age of 75.

According to NBC News,

Police said they received a call around 4 p.m. for an unconscious male at a townhouse on East 19th Street. He was pronounced dead at the scene. Law enforcement sources confirmed the deceased was Ocasek.

The Car rose the fame in the late 1970s and ruled the 80s with their unique sound. They were inducted into the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame in 2018.
