News broke early on Thursday morning that Willie Nelson would be cancelling his summer tour due to health issues. However that does not mean he is cancelling all of his scheduled performances in August.
Nelson posted the following message on his Twitter:
To my fans, I’m sorry to cancel my tour, but I have a breathing problem that I need to have my doctor check out. I’ll be back Love, Willie
Many in the Capital Region became concerned because of the scheduled Outlaw Music Festival at SPAC on September 7th. Nelson is will be performing at that festival along with Bonnie Raitt, Phil Lesh & Friends, Alison Krause and Brothers Osborne, and the SPAC date has not been cancelled.

Unfortunately, Willie had to cancel a handful of shows in August, but he’ll see you on the road again starting in September for the Outlaw Music Festival Tour!
The company presenting the Outlaw Music Festival, Blackbird Presents, also posted that they festival will go on as planned.
