Paul McCartney Reunites With Ringo Starr To Play Beatles Hits: Watch

To the surprise of everyone attending Paul McCartney's concert at Dodgers Stadium on Saturday (July 13), the iconic musician invited Beatles bandmate Ringo Starr out on stage.

The show marked McCartney's final show of his Freshen Up world tour so he, of course, had to make it a night to remember. "We’ve got a surprise for us, a surprise for you, a surprise for everyone: Ladies and gentlemen, the one and only, Ringo Starr,” the "Who Cares" singer said before his former bandmate walked onto the stage.

Starr took his spot behind the drum kit and the pair delighted the huge crowd with two classic Beatles hits: “Sgt. Pepper’s Lonely Hearts Club Band (Reprise)” and the White Album's “Helter Skelter.” Lucky fans also got to take home priceless memorabilia after the legendary drummer threw his drumsticks into the crowd.

Starr wasn't the only iconic rocker to hit the stage that night, McCartney also brought out Eagles guitarist Joe Walsh — who also happens to be Starr's brother-in-law — to lend his skills to the closing medley of “Carry That Weight,” “Golden Slumbers,” and “The End.”

Earlier this month, McCartney sang "Helter Skelter" with Beatles super-fan and Aerosmith singer Steven Tyler

Last September, McCartney released his 18th solo album and first full-length album in five years,Egypt Station, and it went straight to the No. 1 spot, rightfully so.
