The Columbia County Fair is back this 2026, right here in Chatham, NY! Returning for its 185th Fair Opening and celebrating the 250th Anniversary of the U.S.A, the county fair has a little bit for everyone! Open from September 2nd to September 7th, the Columbia County Fair has variety and fun for all ages. Catch a glimpse of the Demolition Derby at the Grandstand, take a ride on the tilt-a whirl, or make a stop at the fried Oreo stand. Whatever you need, the Columbia County fair has it all!
The Columbia County Agricultural Society, Inc. is a non-profit organization that, promotes all aspects of agriculture, horticulture, arts and crafts for all age groups through educational instructions display and competitions.
