Stevie Nicks will put in an appearance on TV's witchiest series -- American Horror Story: Coven.

Producer Ryan Murphy tweeted the news Tuesday morning without spilling any details about exactly what role Stevie will be taking. She's been a big part of the show for a while, since one of the characters is obsessed with her and her music -- a plot device that led Murphy to ask Nicks to do a guest spot.

He tells Entertainment Weekly, "When we got to this witch idea, I thought, if you're Misty and you have grown up alone and you don’t know any other witches, there’s one witch you probably would know, and that’s Stevie Nicks. So I called Stevie Nicks and first I said, 'I want to use you in the show.' But she was very resistant because people who are in the Wiccan community had given her a hard time thinking she was a witch, and she got a lot of scary fan letters. [So] I explained to her the part and she's like, 'Aw [screw]. Let’s just do it."

Stevie's last dramatic turn was on a 2012 episode of the now-cancelled sitcom Up All Night.
