To mark the 40 years since its first appearance, Rush reissues its self-titled first album today in a deluxe box set. Originally released in March 1974, Rush is also again available on vinyl. It comes in a custom box with a lift-off top and features the original Moon Records jacket art.

The package includes a reproduction of the first Rush promo poster, lithographs of Geddy Lee, Alex Lifeson and original drummer John Rutsey, a Rush Family Tree poster and a digital download card.

Drummer Neil Peart has posted his latest travelogue on his website. This one takes a look at a recent 950-mile motorcycle journey to -- and through -- California's Mojave Desert.
