On Tuesday, The Rolling Stones announced their first-ever show in Israel this summer, and now there is an uproar.

Supporters of the Palestinian movement have warned that the Stones are playing with fire. An open letter to the band from the Palestinian Campaign for the Academic and Cultural Boycott of Israel reads, "We appeal to your moral principles and your record of standing up for human rights and human dignity... We sincerely hope that you shall cancel this ill-conceived and particularly harmful concert in Israel.”

Among those who support this organization is Roger Waters. The show is scheduled for June 4th in Tel Aviv. The Stones were not available for comment.
