In July 2012, Queen and Adam Lambert played for hundreds of thousands of people in Ukraine, in the very same square that has been the focus of so much unrest lately.

Roger Taylor tells us, "I think it's very tragic. You feel helpless... It's quite hard to think about that square and all the terrible things that have happened there over the last month and the joyful place it was in 2012 when we played in that square. It was the most amazing atmosphere."

That show, a benefit for the fight against AIDS, was the first full-length show Lambert played with Queen. The two team up again this year for a North American tour that starts on June 19th in Chicago.
