Tour trucks for Bruce Springsteen and the E Street Band were ticketed for parking violations last Wednesday as the rock group prepared for an opening-night performance at the UK’s brand-new Leeds Arena, confirms BBC News.
"We accept this is a little embarrassing but the attendant was doing his job - if a little too efficiently," the council spokesman said, after announcing that the parking citations were quickly withdrawn due to the night’s unusual circumstances, reports BBC.
Parking tickets didn't stop The Boss, or the show. The night kicked off with Springsteen’s 1987 hit "Roulette" and ended with the fan-favored "Thunder Road," in a 9-song encore. Check out the fan shot video below of Bruce crowd surfing in the Leeds Arena!
