The KISS-Def Leppard summer tour will be announced today (Monday) with a press conference at the House of Blues in West Hollywood, California. The event will be streamed live at 2 p.m. ET at

The bands will be joined at the press conference by 200 veterans and service members as part of the U.S. Chamber Of Commerce Foundation's Hiring Our Heroes program. They will get to ask the band members questions and have their photos taken with them. The public can also put questions to the rockers by tweeting @LiveNation with the hashtag #KISSDefLeppard14.

Advance word says the outing, which will be called the 2014 Heroes Tour, will start in late June with dates through the end of August. KISS, who are celebrating their 40th anniversary this year, will close each show.
