Original KISS drummer Peter Criss made a rare public appearance Saturday when he joined Rob Zombie on stage Saturday night in Camden, New Jersey, just across the Delaware River from Philadelphia. He sat in on a cover of the KISS song, "God of Thunder."

Meanwhile, 3,000 miles away, Gene Simmons officiated a wedding at his Rock n' Brews restaurant in El Segundo, California, just outside of Los Angeles. Simmons, who once said he was "not familiar" with the word marriage because it's "not a good idea for the male of the species to get married," could not bring himself to say "I pronounce you husband and wife" to Michael and Lee Gottlieb, but rather, "I now pronounce you man and wife," followed by, "You may kiss each other," instead of, "You may kiss your bride."
