Graham Nash is $200,000 richer -- thanks to Jim Morrison.
A notebook containing 100 pages of poems, philosophy and musings from Morrison's final days in Paris sold at auction last week in Calabasas Hills, California for $200,000. It was given to Nash in the '80s by Bill Siddons, who managed The Doors and Crosby, Stills and Nash.
Shortly before the sale, Nash told us he was getting rid of it because he was "really trying to simplify my life. I want to divest myself of the fascinating objects that I collected during my life." The book brought the top price of all the memorabilia sold at the auction.
