Alice Cooper is looking for a little help jogging his memory.
He writes on his website, "Where were you in the early 1970s? Los Angeles? The Sunset Strip? You probably remember more than I do! After watching my copy of [the documentary] Super Duper Alice Cooper, I decided that I’d like to tell the story of The Hollywood Vampires, my drinking club that used to meet in the loft of the Rainbow Bar on Sunset Boulevard. Notable members were myself, Ringo Starr, Harry Nilsson, Micky Dolenz and Keith Moon, with regular drop-ins from just about everyone you could imagine. We also had a baseball team that included many other rock stars of the time. I want to preserve our legacy and I need your blood! I’m looking for photos, stories, artifacts and witnesses from this place in rock history. If you saw a Vampire, tweet your story along with #HollywoodVampires!"
Among the "drop-ins" were Jim Morrison, John Lennon and Brian Wilson.
