A call came in just after midnight, Friday, June 6, for the Cumberland Farms store at 623 Pawling Avenue in Troy of a robbery. Police got a description of a getaway car and found it and them a short time later.

The description of the suspects and car was transmitted to all area patrol units and a short time later Sgt. John Keeler found a vehicle fitting the description and followed it, radioing for back up, police said.

The car pulled over on its own so police made a “High Risk traffic stop” and ordered the men to remain in the vehicle, police said.

Tyon Smith (left), 27, of First Street, Daquon Jones (middle), 21, of Griswold Heights and (right), 24, of River Street are all charged with Robbery (2nd Degree, Class-C Felony).
