A groom from Eagle Bridge is facing charges for punching out a guest in Hoosick Falls, according to State Police.
David Labrie, 45, of Eagle Bridge is charged with Assault (3rd Degree) after turning himself on Tuesday. Police say that at his own wedding reception in Hoosick Falls on Saturday, July 12, Labrie got into an argument with a man that turned physical and the victim wound up with bruises, two chipped teeth and stitches, police said.
The victim reported the fight to State Police in Brunswick on Monday. Troopers contacted Labrie who surrendered himself at the Brunswick barracks. He was processed and released on an appearance ticket. He is to appear in the Town of Hoosick Court on July 24.
