Colonie Police are looking for two men who tried to rob the McDonald’s at the corner of Osborne and Albany Shaker Roads. They didn’t get any cash but they did pistol-whip the woman working inside before taking off. Police say she was in the restaurant by herself at the time.

Cops say the hamburglars were dressed like the character – in all black with masks except for some white gloves they put on before sneaking in through the back door at 5:14 a.m. One man had a black semi-automatic handgun he used to hit the woman. She sustained a minor injury and was treated by Colonie EMS, but not taken to the hospital.

The suspects may have gotten into a waiting car in the parking lot of the Rite Aid Pharmacy at 463 Albany Shaker Road but that information has not been confirmed, police said in a statement.

The suspect with the gun is described as: hispanic male, 5’4”, 185 lbs., brown eyes and hair. The suspect that stayed by the door is described as: unknown race male, 6’1”, 200 lbs., brown eyes and hair.

Anyone with information about this crime or the identity of the suspects is urged to contact the Colonie Police Department at 783-2744.
